Overview
San Ildefonso Day School starts an early childhood educational journey where every student reaches their maximum potential and continues to secondary education. San Ildefonso Day School upholds the Pueblo Nation’s ability to properly educate its children. We are a community of servant leaders and educators who remain faithful stewards of our Pueblo tradition, Tewa language, and culture. Our mission is to supply the knowledge that will light the paths of our children’s future.
STEP Initiative
San Ildefonso Day School is introducing a new teaching strategy to its educational program by implementing the Strategic Transformation of Education Plan initiative – a digital learning portal with a blended learning approach. Students will have access to every resource available to them through the digital learning portal while maintaining a 1:1 student-laptop usage ratio.
Our innovative approach will also give students the advantage of integrated applications, such as Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for math and reading, as well as Tewa Language and Renaissance Learning for our tailored instruction. Our dedicated educators are committed to the growth and development of San Ildefonso Day School’s Warriors - tomorrow’s leaders.

Welcome home to all the young Warriors of San Ildefonso Day School! We are going to enjoy another amazing school year; learning together, growing together, and sharing with each other. Warriors are the most important part of this learning environment, and our teachers and staff are going to support you every step of the way. We hope you are all eager to learn because we are all excited about teaching you, inspiring you, and having fun.
Warriors are the best students and San Ildefonso Day School is the best school. The 2023-24 school year will be remembered as the early days of your lifelong adventure in learning.
