Student Activities at San Ildefonso Day School

At San Ildefonso Day School, we believe that a well-rounded education includes academic excellence and opportunities for students to engage in various activities beyond the classroom. Our student activities program is designed to foster personal growth, encourage teamwork, and create lasting memories for our students. Here are some of the exciting activities we offer:

San Ildefonso Day School students can explore the world beyond the school walls through a diverse range of field trips. These outings include visits to museums, where students immerse themselves in history and culture, as well as trips to the Bio Park, which offers a unique opportunity to witness wildlife and learn about conservation. Additionally, our students enjoy fun-filled visits to places like the Pumpkin Patch, where they can experience the joys of the fall season.

Cliff's Amusement Park

A special treat awaits our 6th graders as they transition to 7th grade. We organize a memorable trip to Cliff's Amusement Park, where students can celebrate their accomplishments and create lasting bonds with their peers.

After School Program

We offer an enriching After School Program at the Learning Center for students looking to make the most of their time outside of regular school hours. This program provides a safe and engaging environment for students to pursue their interests, receive academic support, and participate in various extracurricular activities.

Youth Leagues

Sports enthusiasts at San Ildefonso Day School can showcase their talents by participating in youth leagues for cheerleading, basketball, baseball, and soccer. These activities promote physical fitness and teach essential life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. We encourage family members and school staff to come and cheer on our young athletes.

River Source Partnership

San Ildefonso Day School takes pride in its partnership with River Source, which promotes responsible water and community stewardship. Our students learn to value and protect their natural environment through hands-on activities, interactions with elders and wisdom keepers, storytelling, and ecological restoration practices. This partnership also extends to schools serving tribal communities like San Ildefonso Day School, where traditional knowledge blends harmoniously with contemporary science and land stewardship.

Student activities play a vital role in shaping our students' character and overall development. By engaging in these diverse experiences, students can discover their passions, build meaningful relationships, and develop essential life skills that will serve them well in the future.

At San Ildefonso Day School, we are committed to providing a nurturing environment where our students can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. We encourage all students to actively participate in the exciting activities we offer, and we look forward to creating unforgettable memories together.
